We’ve grown from a small group in a wartime portable to a congregation within a church that works together. We are wheelchair accessible and offer services for the hearing impaired.

We have a wide range of programs for all ages including: supervised nursery; Church School; mid-week activities for children, youth and adults. We have an active United Church Women group, Bible study groups, small group discussions and last year a new Men’s Group was formed. We also have larger events like picnics and suppers. Pastoral care is offered to those in special need.

We gather to experience, show and share the difference God’s love in Christ makes in our lives. We strive to be a people growing spiritually, while reaching out to others in response to Jesus Christ.

With the departure of Rev. Cathy Dilts, the Joint Needs Assessment Committee was formed to consider and review the ministry and mission of our pastoral charge and our relationship with the community we serve.

The JNAC then considers how these affect the ministry personnel needs of our pastoral charge.

The JNAC Report posted below has been completed and approved by the Church Council, Congregation and Oshawa Presbytery. A vacancy for a full-time Ordained Minister of Word, Sacrament, and Pastoral Care has been declared and the Joint Search Committee has been formed.

Many thanks to this diverse team for their creative approach and the many hours dedicated to this important process.
